The next  Traffic Safety Commission meeting  will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., at the Council Chambers located at 41000 Main Street, Temecula, California.

The City plans on reducing the speed limit on Ynez Rd to 40 MPH and keep speed limit on De Portola Rd to 45MPH.

Update: just learned there is an error in the meeting document and actually,  the section between Jedediah Smith Rd and Margarita Rd will also have the speed lowered to 40MPH.

Please try to attend ! We need as many participants as possible to let the Council Members & Traffic Safety Commission know the entire Ynez Rd-De Portola Rd corridor (between Santiago Rd & Margarita Rd )  should have the speed limit lowered to 40MPH. There is no difference between the 3 sections of road within our HOA.

It will still be a good idea to attend the meeting and show our appreciation.
